I had the chance to finally go to La Ronde last Sunday after all these years (I think the last time I went was about 10 years ago). Loto-Québec sent me 4 tickets as well as Laura Secord chocolates and festive lights earlier this month to celebrate Halloween. If you have never been to this amusement park during October, I highly suggest you to go as there are so many Halloween-themed activities all around the site!
My boyfriend and I decided to take the fast pass to reduce the waiting time (which was incredibly convenient). I have to admit that I am really scared of roller coasters but I am very proud to say that I somehow managed to do 3 big ones: the Golitath, Le Monstre and L’Orbitre. The Goliath has a speed of 100km/h and reaches 52 feet in the sky. I nearly died of freight 10 times but I was still really glad I tried them since it was a very fun and exhilarating experience. Le Monstre is La Ronde’s classic and legend roller coaster. It is all made out of wood, goes at a speed of 96 km/h and offers a series of drop of 40 meters and spirals turns. Finally, L’Orbitre (not pictured) is a lift tower that blast us 192 feet in the air in 3 seconds before bouncing us back down. It was my favourite and you get to see a nice view of La Ronde!
Skeletons, witches, monsters… everything was in place to put us in the mood for Halloween. We finished the day on the Ferris Wheel to have a view on the entire site. As for my Laura Secord chocolates, well let’s say they didn’t last too long! If you are looking for more frightening experiences, I suggest you to try the Maison Rouge – Labyrinth of Terror. I don’t know what is inside of this house (and I don’t want to know!) but I am sure you guys will absolutely love it. I want to personally thank Loto-Québec for their generosity and for the incredible day.
Don’t forget to follow me on social media! I follow back <3
