The Value of Friendship

Sara Hudson

In 2017, I learnt a lot about the value of friendship. I have lived multiple ups and downs moments lately that I always share with my closest friends as we all have so much impact on each other’s life. Whether it is to share good news, help me brainstorm for my personal projects or help me get through a difficult moment, I finally understood the value of true friends.

Some people come in our life and have such a beautiful influence on us. I always value quality over quantity. I only have a handful of friends that I consider really close. They help me flourish, develop my unique personality and sense of style, and always bring the best of me. One of my closest and longest friend is without a doubt my little sister Florence. I am very grateful that we have a strong relationship as we share so many incredible and funny moments since our childhood.

As I am no longer living with my family, my sister and I always make sure to find time to bond. We love taking time to catch up, share laughs and remember funny stories we have spent together. For today’s #DaisyTime moment, we did what we love most. The Old Montreal is one of our favourite neighbourhood. We love talking walks and enjoy the beautiful architecture. As we both have a pretty sweet tooth (me definitely more than she does) we stopped to buy chocolate cupcakes. The perfect treat to celebrate our friendship and the 10th anniversary of the iconic Daisy fragrance from Marc Jacobs! This new edition features the same beloved juice but in a luxurious limited edition bottle adorned with sparkling crystals!

We spent such a lovely afternoon together! As they say, true friendship multiplies the good in life and divides its evils. Whether it is your siblings, your parents, your school’s friends or even your coworker, a friend is one that knows and love you are you are. That person understands where you come from and accepts what you have become while helping you grow. It is the friends we meet along the way that help us appreciate the journey.
