Parma Café

Italian food has always been my weak spot. The explosion of flavours and freshness found in the meals is beyond amazing. That being said, it is not always easy to find a great restaurant serving authentic and delicious Italian fare. I was recently invited to try Parma Café in downtown Montreal and could not wait to share my experience with you guys. Located on 1202 Rue Bishop, Parma Café makes all our Italian food dreams come true!

Whether you are looking for great lunch and take-out options or just simply to have coffee with an Italian pastry, Parma Café is the place to go. We decided to order some of their most famous meals to discover why everyone has been raving about this restaurant. We chose the Pizza of the day and the Vegetarian Calzone, the Tomato Bocconcini Insalate and the homemade fries with truffle mayonnaise. I of course had to add two lattes as you guys know how I cannot live without them 😉

Everything was delicious. The two pizzas were amazing; crunchy and incredibly flavourful. The insalate added a touch of lightness and freshness to our lunch. My photographer and I are addicted to bocconcini and were very pleased with Parma Cafe’s salad. The homemade fries were on point and we brought them back as we did not want to leave them even if we were beyond full. Parma Café sings with a great selection of pastas, pizzas, paninis, insalates and side dishes, all characterized by simple and flavourful preparation.

As if the restaurant was not enough, it also features a coffee bar and grocery store market with imported homemade products. You will find cannolis, truffle oil, pasta, sauces and much more! The warm and sophisticated but yet cozy atmosphere is put forward by an amazing and friendly staff!
