Decorating my home has been a huge passion of mine since I finally got my place a few months ago. As I spend my time living and working at home for my blog, this space has a very important place in my heart. I wanted a place to reflect my own style, personality while also letting mind creative mind run wild. As much as I like the fast-paced and hectic life of Montreal, I also need my soothing and relaxing moments. This is why I wanted my rooms to be very zen and pure, with little splashes of muted colours here and there.
For the next few months, I will be partnering with Bouclair to share with you how I make my place extremely Arielle-like. This month, I decided to give my blogging office a little transformation by adding delicate yet intricate decor pieces. As you can see, I am very into everything minimal with touches of marble, pastel or metallic shades. As in every other room in my apartment, everything is very calm and pure.
As I moved in not so long ago, my blogging office felt very blank. I decided to bring it to life by adding a lot of texture and dimension. I first picked up the Kaya and the Jaci Macramé Decorative Pillows to bring comfort and coziness to the room. I always like to stay warm and comfortable while working, and this Keme Knit Throw was also a must. Plus, it complements the pillows so well! To make sure to keep my room clean and tidy, I added this beautiful Willow basket, which I use to store these gems.
I have always been in love with boho and nature vibes. This is why I set my eyes on this beautiful set of Natural Branches Bundle. As my entire office is very light and white, I find it important to balance everything with pieces that have a touch of colour and texture, while not being too overpowering. This is why I decided to add this outdoor number to my interior décor.
Angular shaped objects have been another love of mine. They transform any space by adding a dash of edginess. This Cement Candleholder, which I used to keep my dainty rings, combined with the Two-Tone Cement Pot Candle give an industrial vibe to my very feminine and delicate style. To contrast with these, I could not resist the beyond gorgeous Mason Jar LED String Lights. I absolutely love lighting them up at night as they give a cool and relaxing glow to the room. The twine accents give a beautiful rustic touch, which complements amazingly the branches on the wall. A must-have for my romantic dreamers just like me!
