2 weeks ago, H&M Montreal flagship store re-opened its doors after being revamped for several months. To celebrate this special day, I was invited to discover H&M’s new design and layout as well as some of their newest collections. You can imagine my excitement when I found that they finally opened a beauty section! After seeing so many European youtubers and bloggers try and rave about their products, I decided to buy a few myself.

If you know me well, you will not be surprised to see which products and colours I went for. Unfortunately, my local H&M dit not have any matte lipsticks yet otherwise I would have gotten a few as well. As I am a huge blush and bronzer addict, I decided to pick my favourite shades and add 2 single eyeshadows as they looked so gorgeous. I bought the Bronzing Powder in Natural Bronze, 2 blushes in Rosy Brown and Soft Russet, and finally 2 eyeshadows in A Pretty Penny and Baci Di Dama.

Have you guys tried H&M’s beauty products? Which ones do you recommend?

First of all, the colour selection is amazing. They have such a great variety of shades that will suit light to darker skin tones. I was very impressed by the amount of eyeshadows offered too! When I first swatched them, I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only were all the powders pigmented but also how easy they were to blend. Now, when applied on my face, I immediately fell in love with them. I only had to lightly dip my brush in these products to get an amazing amount of pigment. They blend so effortlessly and give such a gorgeous touch of colour to the skin.

Packaging-wise, the design is gorgeous but I felt it could a little more solid. The product itself, especially the eyeshadows, are so light I nearly dropped them a couple of times. Nevertheless, the actual product inside is what matters and I cannot recommend you these enough! I am already planning to get my hands on more 😉
