Fruits & Yogurt Popsicles

Sara Hudson

Fruit smoothies and popsicles are two of my favourite things when it comes to grabbing a little snack during summer. So why not combining both into one simple, fun and healthy sweet? This recipe, inspired by Ally’s Baking Addiction – image Pinterest, is not too long to make which makes it perfect for all of us busy teenagers and young adults. Prepare them before going to bed or in the morning before leaving to work and you will come back home to fresh and delicious popsicles. I hope you enjoy 😉

PopsiclesIngredients for 8 popsicles

2 cups fresh blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup white sugar
8 popsicle cups
8 popsicle sticks

Step 1. Place the blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, yogurt, and sugar into a blender.  Blend until the fruits are chunky or smooth, depending on your preference.

Step 2. Fill 3/4 of the popsicle cups with the fruit mixture. Cover the top of each cup with a strip of aluminum foil and insert a popsicle stick through the center of the foil on each cup.

Step 3. Place the cups in the freezer for at least 5 hours.

Step 4. Remove the foil and peel of the cups to enjoy with friends and family!
