Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies? I think it is fair to assume that most of us go crazy about them. I decided to share this recipe with you guys since it was so easy, fast and simple to do! Perfect for a snack, a dessert (and maybe breakfast?), these will make everyone happy. Without further ado, here is the famous chocolate chip cookies recipe I found on Martha Stewart’s website. I hope you will all enjoy and have a good time baking!
2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of packed light-brown sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups of chocolate chips
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and the baking soda and set it aside.
Step 2: In an electric mixer bowl, mix the butter with both sugars and beat them on medium speed until the combination is light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low, add the salt, vanilla and the eggs. Beat them until it is well mixed (around 1min). Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Put the chocolate chips.
Step 3: Put tablespoon-size balls of dough 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Step 4: Bake the cookies until they are golden around the edge but still soft in the center (8-10mins). Remove them from the oven and let them cool for about 2 minutes. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
Step 5: Take a glass of milk and eat as many as you want/can! * You can store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.
