This post here is for all my little chocolate lovers all around the world! If you live in Montreal or if you come visit my lovely city, you have to stop by this marvellous and delicious Chocolate Bar-Restaurant. It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.Have you heard of Juliette & Chocolat? It is a similar type of restaurant but with so much more choices! Breakfast, brunch, dessert, shakes, fondue, smores, literally everything you will ever dream of will be in this place! And the portions are humongous. You can also share various type of plates with your friends and lovers 😉
.
The entrance is on Sainte-Catherine street in the downtown area. The decor is beautiful and very comfy. The walls have wood patterns, there are huge windows to let the natural daylight come in, part of the kitchen is right in the middle so you can spy with your little eye what they are doing and you have a chocolate bar too! I’ll link some pictures I took on various occasions to show you what it looks like. I’m a visual person so I always need pictures or a map or something of that sort to help me imagine and visualize a place!
The price range is pretty fair and it is food and portions is worth every single penny. You will never leave this place with an empty stomach. I went there to eat a banana split once for dessert and we couldn’t even finish it! We were two on it, can you imagine? Cacao70 is perfect to go on a date, between friends, after school, meeting people to catch up – any occasion really. If you want to make sure to have a place on a thursday to sunday night, I would suggest to make a reservation since it is always so packed. And the service is amazing. They are always there to make sure that everything is perfect, always fill up your glass of water and they bring your food and serve you very quickly.

My all time favourites are of course the banana split, the fondue, the hot chocolates (they are amazing), and the chocolate shakes. I took a dark mint chocolate once and I just fell in love with it. And how can you not take pictures of these lovely plates and presentations! Let me know if you end up going there! You will not regret your decision at all. I might also do a review on Juliette & Chocolat! It is similar but different in dishes and style!
