Sushi is one of my favourite food. I usually eat them every week as I can never get enough of them. When looking up online to find the best sushi restaurant in Montreal, Saint Sushi Bar is the one that appears on almost every foodie website and blogs. I had no other choice but to try it out! I was extremely happy when Saeng, the owner of Saint Sushi Bar, invited me to taste their menu. I had read so many great reviews about them and I must say I had very high expectations… that were all exceeded.
Located on Duluth Est, in the Plateau Mont-Royal, Saint Sushi Bar is the place to go if you are craving for delicious sushis. The restaurant has a very festive ambiance; the entire team welcomed us in a very cozy and homey restaurant where great music, a rich coloured decor and an open kitchen are put forward. Everyone was so incredibly friendly, they always made sure my cousin and I were enjoying our culinary experience. What is also amazing is that they make sure to ask every client if they have any food allergies as they can switch ingredients and adapt their menu just for you!

Now onto the food. Everything was divine. We tasted the tuna and the salmon sushis and sashimis, the shrimp Christmas trees, as well as their incredible makis The Beatles, The Madonna, The Marvin Gaye and The James Brown. As you ca see, their makis have the name of the artists that influenced the team’s childhood. All the plates we tried were so incredibly fresh and heavenly. Each piece has a perfect balance of fish, vegetables and rice – a real explosion of flavours in your mouth!
Saint Sushi Bar offers the quality of high-end sushis in a very affordable and creative format. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I already plan on going back with my boyfriend, my family and my friends. It is definitely a place to try and re-try 😉
