OPI Washington DC Collection

OPI1

Nail polishes are such a fun way to complete outfits. Out of all the brands in the beauty industry, OPI is definitely one of my all-time favourites. The colour range, the longevity and the quality of their lacquers are simply amazing. Not so long ago, Trade Secrets very kindly sent me a little surprise: OPI’s Mini Nail Lacquers Washington DC Collection. This mini set is said to be composed of little bits of colour with capital chic. I am so glad to have received this little pack as it is so perfect for Fall!

What do you guys think of these shades? Which one is your favourite?

Shades & OPI descriptions:
We the Female: You’re hereby authorized to wear this empowering garnet.
Pale to the Chief: So nearly nude, it’s almost scandalous.
CIA = Color is Awesome: A smart, dusky blue for secret agent fashionistas.
Never a Dulles Moment: A curry yellow seen on airport and fashion week runaways.

As you can see from the pictures, OPI’s nail polishes are rich in colour. My favourites are We the Female (dark red) and Pale to the Chief (nude). I already know these will be my go-to polishes for the next few weeks! The entire collection blends so well with our current Fall weather in Montreal. I really love these gems, I apply two coats of each to get the colour payoff I desire. I also top it off with a top coat which helps the longevity of the lacquers. They last about a week before starting to chip!

Packaging-wise, they are smaller versions of OPI’s original sized bottles. I really like these mini-sized polishes as they are easier to travel with. I never finish a full-sized nail polish bottle so these little formats are perfect and less product is wasted. You should definitely check out OPI’s collections as they are so beautiful! If you are looking for a perfect Fall mani, I highly suggest you to grab the Washington Collection.

I love CIA! I have a very similar color on my toes called Honk If You Love OPI. I’m loving We the Female for Christmastime, but I usually do a nude nail in case of modeling jobs. In that case, Pale to the Chief is perfect! Xoxo

Oh this post is a reminder that I must get my nails done. I now on week 4 (YEP, week 4) with no fill. Broke 3 nails, lost 1 altogether. Mine are so hideous, I’m not ashamed to even go in and get a manicure. LOL
