Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are all having a cozy weekend. I am really excited to share with you my Home Decor Haul as a lot of you requested it after I posted this photo on my Instagram. I recently moved out from my parents’ house and got my own place. I have been thinking of how I wanted to decorate my rooms for a long time now as I am obsessed with anything that has to do with interior design and home inspo. I created so many mood boards, looking for inspiration on Pinterest, Tumblr and so on.
Before we get started, you will noticed that most of my haul is from West Elm. I was NOT sponsored by them, I bought everything with my own money. West Elm offers the most beautiful home furniture and decor in my opinion but they can be quite pricey. You do not need to splurge on investment pieces to make your home beautiful! I personally saved my money to buy key pieces as these.
My entire apartment is painted in a very light grey colour. To add some touch of colour and warmth, I decided to go with metallic pieces. The white cabinet is actually a television furniture but I decided to use it as a presentation/bar section. I knew I wanted a tray and I found the perfect Golden Mirror Brass and Glass Tray. I fell in love with its vintage aesthetic! To top it off, I chose two Rose Gold Mule Mugs and an mini apple and a pineapple scented candles. They are adorable! The rose gold goes in sync with both the tray and the Chanel wall art behind it. The candles are the most beautiful ones I have seen and they just smell divine.
For my little coffee table books section, I picked up my favourite and must-haves blogger books. You will find most of the best sellers and essentials there! I also added these stunning Mercury Tealights and decided to put them on each side. I personally leave them empty but putting a candle inside will create a radiant atmosphere with a gorgeous mercury glow. Next to it is my little cute mugs section. Most of them comes from Indigo! They are all just adorable and I love making myself hot chocolate or teas in them.
Now on the other side of my living room. The Gold Foil Decorative Pillows were the first things that caught my attention. They are so incredibly soft and the pure golden colour brings such a radiant glow in my room. On the coffee table, I bought the most gorgeous cube terrarium and an empty faceted terrarium jar. I have been loving the new minimalistic and cubist trend and these were right up my alley. And of course, succulents are everywhere now! They are the best plants to have as they do not require much attention.
These followings home decor were not purchased at West Elm. The Love is All You Need Glass Jar comes from Stokes. It is actually a cookie jar I switched into my ‘Souvenirs Jar’. I added little Kate Spade post-its so that my guest can write a little message when they come! To add another touch of green and of life, I bought this beautiful Peace Lily. I found it at Home Depot for 20$ which is a steal! Lastly, for the finishing touch, I placed these adorable pinecones that I found at the Dollar Store.
As you may know, decorating an entire apartment is a very long process. I have been getting little bits here and there and I still need to buy so many other home accents, accessories and decor! I really hope you enjoyed this post and that it inspired you for your own home inspo projects 🙂
