I work 40 hours per week in front of a computer and spend at least 20 more hours on my laptop or my phone for my blog. This makes me stare at screens quite a lot of time. Polette recently asked me if I wanted to collaborate with them as they have seen my love for sunglasses and when I saw they had an E-Polette section, I couldn’t resist to give them a try. It is actually the first time I see a complete collection of e-glasses!
E-glasses protect our eyes by filtering blue light from LED screens around us, whether it is from our computer, tablet, phone and so on. As we all know and are guilty of, the younger generation spends so much time in front of screens so it is very important to protect our eyes day to night! Blue light has been connected to damage the retina since it emits high amounts of light, which jeopardize our eye’s health.
As you can somewhat see in my pictures, the E-Polette has a light-yellow filter. You barely notice it while wearing, the only difference I saw was that everything was a little bit more yellow of course. These glasses filter 40% of all blue light to protect our eyes. I use them all the time when I work at my job or on my blog! They really help my eyes feel less tired at the end of the day. They are also very comfortable to wear, they are super lightweight and sit nicely on the bridge of the nose (or mostly on my cheeks too as I don’t have a very high bridge).
The only time I am not wearing them is when I have to edit my pictures as the colour changes. If you are working in photography, design, etc. I would be careful as these glasses will change the pigment and the luminosity of what you see.
What is amazing is that these e-glasses are certified by opticians and only retails at 39.99$! The only downside about these E-Polette is that they took a month and a half (6 weeks) to arrive which I find extremely long. I would suggest these if you are not in a hurry at all! Polette has such a great selection of incredibly fashionable glasses, sunglasses and e-glasses that are offered at factory prices. They offer frames from 9.99$ to 49.99$ and lenses from 9.99$ to 89.99$.
